it's been a while

Hi everyone,

sorry that I haven't posted lately but I have been away in Florida (no, not soaking up the sun), sitting in classes trying to learn even more about the wonderful products we all like to play with.
I took some great classes ( and a few not so great). Alot of these were stamping classes, for those who know me, I need all the help I can get. I really enjoyed creating the cards that I was taught and hope to be able to share this knowledge with you all. Also I got top take another fantastic class with Tim Holtz. His class featured the idea-ology line. All I can say is WOW. Next time you're by the store ask me to show you what I made.
While I was gone stock kept coming in. Today I have chosen to tell you about the new Dear Lizzy christmas line. Above is a picture of 3 cards made by our very own Melanie Louette. In case you didn't know, she is on the American Crafts Design Team and I found these on her blog. I loved them and wanted to share. Enjoy

Snow Day is for the young at heart

Well Crate Paper has done it again, they have created some fun new lines. For those of you who love Crate, then you will love their new lines. For those not familiar with Crate, now is good time to get to know them. Snow Day and School Spirit are verry youthful lines but Restoration is definitely for those who like a more floral and vintage"ish" line.
These papers will appeal to everyone for different reasons. Let me know yours!

This line is stunning, it is even more beautiful in person. All the black is velour. Some of the backsides are as beautiful as the fronts. There are also many patterns that could be used for much more than just halloween

Help Wanted

Are you looking to get your hands a little bit dirtier in your favorite hobby. Well I am looking for sample makers. Products keep arriving and we, the staff , are so busy trying to get the items out on the shelves that we never have time to make store samples. Samples show others what to do with the products and that's what we need to do.
I am looking for page makers, project makers, card makers as well as people who love to color stamped images.
So if you feel like you have a little extra time on your hands please contact me and we will sit down and talk. Please keep in mind that I will be looking for people with different styles to give us a hand for a while.
Thanks
